Right now ERA trait gives tanks +1HP, while Tandem makes missiles do +1 damage against tanks. That +1 damage is equivalent to a +2 pen buff, which makes Tandem warheads more powerful against tanks with ERA than tanks without, which makes no sense, as Tandem should just neutralize ERA's effects and not do anything else. To that end, i propose ERA trait to simply make HEAT warheads do -1 damage. That way Tandem will correctly neutralize the trait. There will also be the positive side effect of ERA no longer affecting KE projectiles, and having some kind of impact against HEAT making it worth the price.
#Rework ERA trait to match the Tandem trait.

Typical amazing Quan take
what if ERA somehow decreased affected AP by HEAT munitions unless they have tandem trait? :3
thats literally what i am proposing
but this is damage but what about decreasing Armor Penetration instead (somehow)
armor penetration = damage
-1 damage literally just means "reduce pen by 2" and since tandem arleady increases pen by 2 it would cancel out.
makes sense go ahead
I didn't know that term at all I thought damage and AP was a different thing
yeah the system is a bit weird
penetration is just damage and armor is the resistance to this damage
ah, so I was just saying what you said in noobie language
And the already added armor values for said tanks goes down, right
I dont understand what this means.
Era tanks have higher armor, Eg. Plus 2 more front armor, values according to lore, the item. This effect would have been reversed if your change would be implemented
Why? Era trait doesn't increase armor value. Armor is independent of ERA. What the devs say to explain the different values is another thing altogether.
What? No?! Era is implemented in a certain way... If you change somethings for the better all of the other stuff has to be revalued, too! Right now these are the effects! If you do your proposal then the health benefit and/or the added armor has to go away!
...this is a description from a third party site.
.... Yeah the 12hp are obviously correct and the other stuff would be from a devblog
They are infact incorrect.
11 is the ingame stat... Yeah...
