#Certain AT weapons doublekilling transports

I have noticed this several times, but I've only taken the time to identify one example in a replay. When two transports are very close together a HEAT round can kill them both. Since it is not an HE weapon, this obviously makes no sense.

If you would consult the images, we can see the suspect moving into position in image 1. Then we can see in image 2 how Frithmann is in position, and that he has 6 round for his RPG. Then in image 3 we can see at the moment of firing, the round has not yet made impact, two Topas vehicles live, and the unit has only fired one, as can be seen by the ammo count.

In image 4 we can see both vehicles exploding at once, and in the last image we see how the top secret east german quantum-phasing AT round has passed through both slits at once, dooming my pie chowder zmechs.

Some interesting details:

1: I still won this game
2: I believe I have seen the same behaviour from ATGMs
3: Uncertain about kinetic rounds

If I had to guess, sometimes HEAT rounds can get a 'partial' hit. It seems like that mechanic, which is not necessarily a bug, acts really weirdly at certain edge values

I remember reporting this way back in early access. I haven't seen this for so long I thought EUG fixed it.

# thick flume i think its less partial hit, more like HEAT just has very tiny splash, so somet...

Yeah I mean I don't mean anything specific by partial hit, that's just how I heard it referred to in the past. I suppose it could be that the projectiles explosion value could be applied with the projectiles penetration value even to a secondary target?

So for example, if you look at how the topases are standing, maybe it show at the right one, hit it in the front, and the splash delivered part of its HE to the second one, but to the back armour, with 18 pen.

how is that a bug instead of a feature. It makes things more interesting. Looking at your pictures, the 2 topaz were literally hugging each others so it's not like 2 vehicles transporting troops to reinforce, spaced as they naturally are by the game, would usually get killed by a single infantryman firing once.

because an RPG somehow double killing vehicle makes no sense at all

many things have been sacrificed on the altar of gameplay>real life
