So I recently saw the black hole lottery and I got one fossil sucked up and I wanted to know if I get lots of things sucked up is it a higher chance to win?

Anytime an item gets sucked into the black hole (if you have one in your inventory then there is a slight chance) then you get entered into that day's black hole lottery. The results are posted in the DMC lottery channel at reset

i do ... doesn't bother me to lose an item here or there for a chance to win a ton

And items already in your inventory are safe ... so it is only new items you find in grind commands
