I did not change this parameter during the tests.
I also tested the graphics settings, FPS cap, and body count.
I didn't test the unit count. I want to see what happens if I spawn 200 infantry.
Overall, the game runs at 30-60 FPS on all settings. 40-45 is the average. The monitor is locked at 120Hz.
It doesn't matter what settings you use, from Epic to Low. It doesn't matter what FPS cap you use, from Unlimited to 30 FPS.
After changing the settings, I always restarted the game to ensure all the changes took effect.
This makes the game feel like it's running in a swamp or fog. I'm used to playing at 90-120 FPS.
The severe lag bug in pause mode occurs in any situation on the game map. When I encountered the bug in the game, I immediately reported it, edited the video, etc. Without turning off the game, I simply paused it (Space key).
In this case, when I returned to the game, it lagged terribly, but as soon as I unpaused, the game returned to its normal 30-60 FPS. Overall, this issue isn't a problem for me personally.
The video was made with graphics settings set to minimum. Nvidia decided not to record their FPS counter for some reason.
For some reason, the animations were off and reset to maximum after restarting the game.
In the video, I wanted to show the FPS when you stick the camera into the ground; that usually prevents the game from rendering anything. But that doesn't work here.
