#Retain Building Orientation during repeated construction

I think its great that the game offers both the option to use the mouse as well as the R & T keys to rotate buildings during construction. I think it would be a relatively simple yet great addition for buildings that were rotated using the R & T keys during construction, to retain their orientation while being built repetitively.

An example: I like to adjust the orientation of Holding Areas using R & T keys by aligning them to the environment. If I then choose to construct another Holding Area it will snap back to its initial alignment, requiring me to once more align the building using the R & T keys. It would be amazing if the first time I aligned the building could carry over, thus greatly speeding up construction.

I would love to be able to rotate my buildings by degrees like 15-45-90, so all my bases can be nice and even. Seeing crooked buildings makes me upset lol

Agreed

@south badger add to our list for this week structure audit

#

Make a timeout of say 5 seconds then it resets back to default rotation

#

so place a structure
“Save rotation “
If the next one is within 5 seconds use the saved rotation else start with default one

Why have default rotation at all with timer?. I always need to rotate buildings anyway so it is the same if I need stands I. Default or as my last rotation

It does reset eventually

I see you point but what is default position incase of rotation on buildings that's what i mean. I don't think people mind if I goes back to default or not:p

Could we get a mechanic to build multiple buildings of a certain orientation in a row?

This would be useful for roadblocks, garrison tents (Huge one there), generators, and etc
