The civs are just wondering around... I have it set to have them go to the infection detection tower if they are unsure if they are infected or not and I have also tried turning that off and having them go strait to the chopper instead but they just wonder around. If I have it set for them to go to the infection tower they do with no issues then they wonder back to their building or just wonder around but in both cases they refuse to board the chopper.
#Civs wont board evac chopper.

@indigo schooner the most common fix for this is having a ton of free space in front of the chopper. The bunched civilian units seem to have a really tough time pathfinding narrow areas
@indigo schooner Please provide a save file
we need a broken one so we can fix this once and for all
@sudden quail Here's mine. Same issue.
Tried setting civs to do nothing to shake it loose, but now the evac center wont even recognize there are two active helipads right next to it.
The initial problem seemed to start once I started evacuating the large city tiles to blue crest. Turned all other zones but one off but the civs still seem to want to mill around.
Tried reloading save several times. No success ๐
Please give us the other's too
@amber pumice
I was playing the other day and evacuated around 2k before the game started being weird and all the civs were just kinda lined up outside one of the buildings and refused to move or board the choppers
i always have the last 100 standing by the tents ๐
Poppped it open and tested: the zone wasn't set to intake civilians, and in the Orders, the Confirmed Uninfected were not set to Evacuate, only to Wait.
I built a holding area (required for Evacuate orders) and turned on the Evac order, and it functioned.
It was congested a bit, but built a few more holding areas and things smoothed out.
Also: the error message for being able to set the Evacuate order erroneously would say 'No Helipad(s) set to Evacuation Mode' even when they were there, and instead it needed to properly note when Holding Areas were needed, so I fixed that error message for next patch: but wasn't having the congestion issue once I built enough Holding Areas for two helipads.
This also happends to me all the time always 200-500 left standing outside the tents
I had a similar experience, got to 700 people evac'd and then all of a sudden, they stopped. Tried multiple things to try and get it working again.
- Reloading the save game file
- Turning on / off the tents
- Enable / disabled the helipads
Before loading into the game today did a verify game files and now all working again.
another save file - not sure if the same bug (saw it on steam) but this one doesn't allow you to select an evac location
do you have another civ management in another zone to evac to?
yea, this is on experimental btw, was working fine on stable
absolutely make sure to mention if bugs are on stable or experimental lol
Sorry for posting and then not saying anything. School just started back up and I deleted everything gaming off my computer so I wouldnt get distracted... I also realized that I had it set to 200 pop. Let me knowif you still want the save file
Yes please
how do I find my save file to give you?
