So I've been building a small base in Glenn Military Barracks, in the first picture. When building a command tent Zombies will randomly spawn at times and just destroy everything. My guys seem to not realise whats happening until its all over?

Can confirm, had some zombies spawn in the middle of my base.

Maybe a bug with the tunnelling system?

Speaking for myself, I haven’t enabled the leviathans yet.. I feel like it would be too much!

@silver crane bug with the spread virtualization?

Started examining this one: thank you for the save, by the way!

It seems like the Infected Assault system somehow set a bunch of 'virtual' units and their location got into your base without detecting you were there. When you load the save, boom, they detect you and 're-materialize'.

Continuing the test w/ debug active, the Infected are continuing the Assault and sending more units, but I never see them able to get nearly that far without rematerializing first (while outside your vision). I don't know how the system got the 'virtual bunch' anywhere near that close to you without materializing..

I'll examine some of the spawning logic here to see if I can spot a flaw, but I'm honestly not sure how this happened. Regarding this save (which takes place here, in Glenn Military Barracks on the north-side of Treasure Island), can you recall exactly what you did prior to this happening?

Or if anyone else has it happen: did you do anything unique right before it happened? Did you fly all your soldiers in right before it happened, or something like that? Any specific detail may end up being useful.

Roger - it just kinda happened to ya. Perhaps there's something weird w/ the pathing there?
Thanks for the intel. Will likely try to reproduce by doing what you did w/ some debug on and seeing if I spot anything odd.
