you can just cade a bridge with a bunch of barbed wire which can mess with the zs pathfinding since alot of times they just stand next to them and get stuck so if you make a bunch of lines before infected start bothering you on bridges you can prety much stop them so if there was some kind of price that would reduce this "problem" alot
and with the new increased start pop you can just get a bunch of soldiers and build a sh* tons of them
That sounds like an AI issue, not a cost issue
yeah that too but even if they attack it if theres alot of them they just wont get through with a soldier behind those lines
Then the AI needs to be given some kind of counter but if you spend a lot of time entrenching a position than that's the reward of an entrenched position.
They're difficult to assault for a reason.
Some kind of siege breaker unit or method would have to be given to the Zeds.
Plus AI to not get the confusion by ouchy spaghetti :p
even the fance has a price which makes me not really use it at all if you can just build free baricade that even damages zs
To be honest, non-upgraded fence isn't a fortification but a suggestion.
Upgraded with armor and electricity?? Now it's demand!!
yeah but at the early game thats just too much money for defenses
For sure.
Which is why I usually use barbed wire and sandbags for defensives and slowly replace with full defenses working outwards.
