GARTIC NOW - FAQ

:one: **What is Gartic Now?**

:small_blue_diamond: Gartic Now is an online desktop platform that provides a simple and accessible drawing space where everyone has the same conditions: essential tools, layout, and a time limit.

:two: What tools can i use?

:small_blue_diamond: You can use a pencil, an eraser, and a color picker to draw. Additionally, you can adjust the thickness and opacity of your brush.

:three: How much time do I have to draw?

:small_blue_diamond: Once you start drawing, a 4-hour countdown timer begins. Important: The time is regressive, meaning it counts down instead of up.

:small_blue_diamond: **What happens if the time runs out and I'm not finished?**

When the time is over, your drawing will be automatically saved up to that point, but you won’t be able to continue working on it.

:small_blue_diamond: **I reloaded the page/lost my connection. How do I restore my drawing?**

Drawings are not saved on our system. If you refresh the page, all progress will be lost. Because of this, opening multiple tabs will result in different, separate drawings.

:four: How do I add grids?

:small_blue_diamond: In the bottom-left corner, click the gear icon to adjust the grid size and switch between light and dark mode.

:five: How do I change the canvas format?

:small_blue_diamond: You can select your preferred format in the upper-right corner. Keep in mind: Changing the format mid-process will erase your work.

:six: How do I save my drawing?

:small_blue_diamond: Once you’re done, click FINISH at the bottom left of the page. You’ll be redirected to the final page, where you can click SAVE DRAWING to download your artwork.

:seven: What is the validation system?

:small_blue_diamond: Our Discord BOT verifies the code at the bottom of your drawing to confirm it was created on Gartic Now.
:small_blue_diamond: Once you upload the file to the verification channel, the system will check whether your drawing is valid.
:small_blue_diamond: IMPORTANT: You must always upload the original file. Any external alterations will invalidate your drawing.

:eight: How do i send my drawing?

:small_blue_diamond: First, type the command /gartic check
:small_blue_diamond: Then, either drag the file to the message bar or click to upload it from your computer
:small_blue_diamond: You can also add a short description if you like
:small_blue_diamond: Finally, hit send and the BOT will check it for you!
