I just had that happen to me too. It happens when you have food stored on a previous ant that you cancelled. The queen needs a worker to take the egg away, so next time your worker brings 1 food you'll get an egg, and the food total will change to 5/4. It's weird 😅

Ah... I have a theory. Because you cancelled the Attacker, the Builders who were feeding the Queen to hatch Attacker also quits and redirected to do another job. Because those Builders were redirected, the Queen has to wait for other available Builders to accommodate her eggs.
(Like come on! Those builders worked hard to feed the Queen to meet your needs and you just cancelled it?! 🤣😵)
