i learned this from one of my jobs but those detectors actually typically have sensors that show you what the item is if there’s any metal at all (like based off corners and density of the metal) and won’t set them off if it’s not anything that’s out of the ordinary

it’s why phones don’t set off the sensors anymore

the bag check is usually only if something is off in the scan

or they can’t fully identify the item- say like a coin purse that’s got a ton of coins clumped together can look like a pocket knife to the detector

OH MY GOD seriously though! me and my friends were there when it was raining, we went up to the venue to get shade and the staff YELLED at us before we could say anything. They didn’t offer people anywhere to stay to get dry, let people stay in the rain ect.

also when my friend asked about the no plushie rule one of the staff got so in her face. Ive never been so weirded out. It was mostly live nation staff at that, not the ones for glass animals. they were extremely nice. the fact that they had no set spot either for the people attending the concert was insane..

when we got there at 10 nobody was there so we figured oh okay lets wait in the venue area, they kicked us out and had no exact spot to tell us to go to.
