i have pretty thick hair too and wore similar clips to both nights in chicago! night 1 i tried to just use the clips to pin my hair on the side while keeping it down but it didn’t work very well and they were falling out of place. night 2 tho i did pig tails first and then put the clips in and it worked wayyyy better and kept my hair out of my face!!

#1 challenge for my outfit will be to do eyeshadow for the first time in my life and do eyeliner successfully

i would say it probably depends on what look you’re going for!! i do my sister and bsf’s makeup a lot who both have hooded eyes and i find the best tip personally is to have ur eyes open, create a light blended line with ur lightest shade to where you want your eyeshadow to show up with ur eyes opened, and then close ur eyes and work with blending your eyeshadow within that shape, if that makes sense!! :)

for eyeliner i feel like it usually depends on if ur going for pencil or liquid eyeliner !!

as you should, that's the way to go!! for the last 4 years i have repeatedly cut it a little longer than pixie and let it grow a little past shoulders then cut it again. short hair lifestyle is the way to go. having long hair personally bores me and i reject it (on myself) for some reason😭 and you can still do little hairstyles which are cuteee with the hair length🫶 (not that i am skilled enough to do many of them but it's the thought that counts<3)

Still trying to figure out what to wear 😅 i tried on a few outfits for comfiness check and they all passed. I figure if I wear the teal sweatshirt I’d wear it over a tank in case it gets warm. I feel like the ATIS inspired b/w might be too warm but I’d just take off the black long sleeve. I also made some bracelets and am doing eyes with a few different silver shadows and liners. Yes! Good idea! I could just wear all the layers - black long sleeve under white tank under teal sweatshirt lol. I was planning on white sneakers, but I have black boots I could wear instead. I got glow in the dark checker board vans I thought could be cool but I haven’t worn them yet and am a little afraid it might not be a good idea to wear them for the first time before I’ve had a chance to break them in.

You can do song or album names or lyrics or anything related to the band and there’s a lot of people at the concert that will just come up to you and trade if they see you have bracelets, or you can organize meeting ppl from the server to trade/give bracelets too. It’s just fun because you can show your appreciation for different songs/albums and try to encapsulate them in bracelets and then find people who also like them:D

Glass animals is very maximalist and i think the others are too plain

and its not too much to have the band name there, its like just enough of an accent to make it special, but not making it like clashing with the print

My art brain likes it for those reasons I think its visually balanced
