this is my first concert so i’m a little confused on how vip works. is there one line for vip and one line for general admission or is it just one big line and you should try to get there early regardless?

everyone will get in despite the time they arrive. if you don’t want to miss the openers, you may want to arrive a little before doors, but it looks like at most shows, the show starts 1 ½ hrs after the doors open so that is plenty of time for the venue to get people inside

VIP gets early access! There are two lines so they’ll let you in for like ~15 mins to get merch/find a spot before letting GA in

Hostels or airbnb are probably gonna be the cheapest. But I’ve never stayed in a hostel so I myself can’t recommend. But the airbnbs I’ve stayed in can say I’ve been comfortable as a solo traveler. Though if you aren’t comfortable with something that isn’t a hotel then do a hotel. When it comes to where you’re going to sleep always choose being comfortable over cheapest

First, I would check the bag/item policies. At my venue you could only have a bag of a certain size with a single pocket, or a clear bag. Also check if you can bring any water bottle or just a sealed or empty one.

Idk what the weather is expected to be at your venue. I probably would have some sort of jacket with you (or buy one) just in case it rains or the temperature drops.

In my bag (a fanny pack!) I had my wallet (with my id and credit card and money), medications that I have to have with me, 2 granola bars, a sealed new plastic water bottle, and a portable charger (you don’t want your phone to die)! I had a rain jacket but I forgot to bring it in, however I was definitely grateful I bought a hoodie so I could wear it when it got chillier and really rainy.

I've had no issue with reselling tickets on ticketmaster; they give the venue/artist the choice of enabling resell. And they might even be able to set limits on how much the resell tickets can go for.

has anyone who had a VIP ticket had the issue with never being sent the email to fill out information to recieve the VIP merch? it said within a week of the email that was sent like 3 days before the concert, but my concert was a week and a half ago and still no email. I'm getting worried I'll never recieve it and that I was somehow scammed (even though i bought on ticketmaster the second the tickets went live and all the emails have been from the official ticketmaster and live nation email addresses, and i was able to get into the venue with my VIP ticket)
