Well, to go with those bit older but still popular shows, have you watched Cowboy Bebop?

I thought KonoSuba was pretty funny. It is another isekai though

There's a LOT of Isekais

#

it can get kind of tiring to just watch one genre

#

That's why I try to space them out with other genres of anime

U watching the new season of jobless reincarnation?

plucky oak

IT's on my list

I want us to watch it for Weeb Wednesday

Made by the same guy that does my favorite anime

#

Hiro Mashima

#

So it has some fun futuristic and cyberpunky elements mixed with “magic” and space travel

Also doesn't help that many of the isekais are also pretty generic. But that also makes the ones that stand out just that much better

Anime has been my main hobby for... longer than some members have been alive. I understand this is a 16+ server, but I'm not 100% sure where the line is for teenage content. It seems people try to filter more content teens are exposed to, but they are more exposed to most things than I was? Is there a guideline posted somewhere as to what can and can't be commented on?

I feel pretty safe recommending the Isekai anime "I'm Quitting Heroing" to young adults that don't mind some contemplation and reflection near the end of it.

My #1 feel good anime is "Barakamon". Ignore the official description of the anime. My description is a guy becomes stressed and goes to the country to recapture joy in his life.

Love that anime so much

so swearing, violence, suggestive themes, and brevity of nudity scenes are ok then?

#

want examples listed for approval?

#

Rather be safe than sorry.

After I understand the restrictions I would like to revive this topic and nurture it a bit to flourish. I am a fan of most things that aren't mech, space, guns, soap opera, crime, too crude, too much fanfare, OP for no reason, bad continuity, or bad story.

#

All time favorite anime is a Shonen. Hunter x Hunter. Not the 2011 remake, but the remake isn't bad either I guess. Can I recommend it to everyone? Sadly no.

#

Favorite Nickelodeon show? Avatar the Last Airbender. (63 episodes) Yes, it's even great for small children's viewing.

I've shown shows that are M before. And we talk about shows that are M.

#

Like Chainsaw Man etc.

#

We haven't played Chainsaw Man in the server because it's too much but we have talked about it

#

That's an example of when something is ok to talk about, but maybe not to show

# plucky oak I've shown shows that are M before. And we talk about shows that are M.

Ok. So for instance the original Berserk would be fine despite ep. 2, and the one osca scene, and the last 2 episodes.

We could probably talk about Kaiba, the familiar of zero, and darling in the frax but not show them.

And if careful we could avoid going into much detail on shows like... I'm not going to name it but I'm going to "try" to describe it as three teens become cursed by a mythical creature only to find fellowship through... um... their tenacity to prevent others from similar hardship they had one endured.

Is that fair?

Then I've hidden the truth well! A job well done!

#

Or perhaps I've watched too much... reguardless. I would be willing to speak about anime without rose-colored sunglasses if any are willing.

Been recently getting into Fumikane Shimada's World Witches franchise - especially the Strike Witches since I've written a conceptual movie treatment for a live-action version.
