I can't stress this enough. ANY MACHINE can make fresh beans good - your coffee is only as good as your ingredients.

You can make phenomenal coffee with fresh grind in a $40 aeropress. You can also make shit espresso with 12-month-old beans in a $1600 Breville Dual Boiler.

Correct, it does have small amounts. It's perfect for me when I have to come home & work or study after my regular work hours, without effing up my sleep. IMO most decaf is less rich tasting, but most people will say it's not really noticeable. The workaround for me is to order more flavored grounds to mask some of that

If you get beans from those bulk dispensers in (most) stores coffee sections and want a twist on the flavor I'd recommend getting bag of beans that's about 10% flavored beans like French vanilla or hazelnut or whatever flavor have you, and mix it up real well. It'll give your cold brew a hint of flavor without overbearing the coffee.
