To be honest expo cards solves caps pretty much. If your playing fixed caps on a map where’ it’s likely to end in a draw ex. Small maps. I think you did it to yourself imo.
^^
or maybe play different settings/maps
or the game finds a way to reward "risk" in every occurence
Virtually every game has a draw option, it would be a great addition to Risk as well
Yea I don’t see it. Original risk had progressive cards to stop the need for a draw options. I’ve never seen a draw option on a board game besides chess (that I’ve played). This isn’t that.
I don’t see the benefit here. It’s great there’s different game modes and such but you can choose your own settings etc.
I would say there is no cercumstance I can think of when a draw would occur unless you were playing fixed caps. But even then I am not quite sure it could happen there either.
it would solve 3 player stalemates where no one wants to be the first to attack
2 players can sometimes stalemate when both hold half of the board across a 1 point hold, even with prog/expo cards
if you can hold half the board with only one region that sounds like a map problem
blizzards do that sometimes
Alcatraz and River Town Advanced have it even without blizzards
Exactly. And who plays prog and doesn't know how to card block creep and keep getting trades while the other is stuck without cards. lol. Sounds like a skill problem.
