cool idea
I know it's primarily focused on vampires, but the day/night mechanics could be really cool in so many other ways too (like seasonal storms, blizzards, having different dynamic events triggered from them)
vampire matches will require entirely different tactics.
Unlike with zombies or human territories, a large stack doesn’t buy you safety. The larger the stack, the greater the drain each turn.
To avoid the slow drain, you have to either DESTROY or RUN.
But since a vampire territory drains troops from ALL adjacent players simultaneously, it may be better not to destroy, as long as it is hurting other players more than you.
ye i actually like that as well!!!! maybe during blizzards and fog you can see normally 2 territories around yours or if just Blizzards, you cant see the board if its night and no fog, only troops 1 turn ahead
I think this is really neat, but I am wondering how the day/night mechanics would work when everyone is in different time zones...
Easiest route would be alternate turns (like unstable portals) - it can't really be a timer countdown because you could wait out timers to get there sooner or later
