eh yes and no, no because some people might not like the settings/map chosen and would want to leave but cant cause of host starting, the game being so laggy and not giving people a chance to load, and also not being able to see the people you like there! Also some people dont have premium in order to play unlimited games or you might be picky on settings like placement of troops and maps there are! Yes because some people do on purposely do that, especially to ruin games for others if bots dont do anything/are too aggro, as well as the host leaving to annoy others and who kicks people, maybe take away the ready button for the host and then not being able to leave their game they hosted for like 3-5 rounds! Also a huge problem would be the coding mechanic and what color people would like to play as! Some games fill up quick though so you dont wait that long, its just for the unpopular settings

You can pre-select your colors. But most games have the ready button in the lobby. Not after the lobby. This is actually the only game I know that has an "After match launched ready button". Which ruins the game and peoples ranks. You do have a good point though about being the last guy to join and not being able to see the settings in time. But also the settings are posted before you even join. So that is really on you.

I get you. They could move the ready button to the lobby if that is what people wanted.
