First time trying 3d so it isn't as good

man doubled the map submission limit lmao

#

I think that some asymmetry would greatly benefit this map, currently it's also really easy to get a big pocket with 2 borders

Wait lemme double check

Thought it might be cool if it's kinda symmetrical

#

As I wanted the outer continent to be fair and give the same amount and progress the closer it goes to the middle

#

Plus there aren't really a lot of symmetrical maps rn

But I get what you mean

# wicked yew I think that some asymmetry would greatly benefit this map, currently it's also ...

The left third of the map can be held from a two point, but the symmetrical position on the right does not hold its pocket without a third point. The interplay between visual symmetry and some asymmetry in pathing and connections can make for a visually appealing and interestingly playable map.

The crayon or soft pastel look is one we don’t have in current maps and I hope they would lean into that look if they put this sort of map into the game (maybe this is a rough sketch and sharp perfection was intended, but I like the fuzzy lines). More varied artistic appearance while retaining readability and playability should be possible and SMG should start pushing that envelope otherwise why keep adding maps.

Yea, thanks

I went for the cartoony, crayon style on purpose, thought it could look good for a floating map

I was thinking of a map where the middle gives the most and it gets less and less
