Actioning too suddenly has the downside of being easier to identify whether or not you're successfully bypassing detection - whereas actioning later means "breaking rules on school property" you've got multiple violations recorded and you don't know which time(s) you were flagged for it

I agree with this. And also I dont think every suspension should be more harsh. Some minor things might just deserve a 24 hour suspension over and over again. Like emote spamming should never lead to a perma-ban. 24 hour ban for doing it and also a 24 hour ban for reporting the person who was doing it (With a warning to mute them next time instead of being a snitch).

Or better yet, limit the amount of emotes a player can use on a single turn to stop it all together. 10 minutes to code that plus you gain they get money by not running off or banning paying players for such a petty thing.
