The main cause of the Lobbies-Not-Filling-Up Problem is Lobby Hopping - players rapidly joining and leaving lobbies in search of a full one as quickly as possible.
The problem is that too many players are doing this at the same time. With too few players patiently waiting in lobbies, there are no “full lobbies” left for the lobby-hoppers to join, which only worsens the cycle.
And of course only players that ready up in games should be rewarded.
I don't like the idea of punishing people for not readying up, otherwise it's a neat idea
Some small incentive for players to not bot out would be ok too, right now there are too many players starting as bots before the game even begins.
It is unfair towards the players that not only take their time to host a game, but also often spent additional money for more maps to play.
Even just the option to "erase" players that do not ready up would be a huge improvement in my book.
Didn't expect this much pushback regarding my idea in general.
I guess most people do not have problems filling up their progressive world dom lobbies...
Or you guys just prefer some other idea, which would be fair enough.
