Aside from orientation , I really like this! Could be a top tier prog world dom and zombies map πŸ™‚

How many territories?

Thanks m8, the right grid (slightly more simplified) is 106 territories I think.

Another question: Would you guys prefer the connection of territories only via "touching sides" or also diagonally across intersections?
(when 4 territories touch in the corner)
I somewhat think only via touching sides is more fun and skill based, in reality you also don't cross an intersection diagonally, and the grid is derived from important streets...

Ok, may a bit too large for zombies, but definitely great for other modes πŸ™‚

Looks fun πŸ™‚

Yeah, thanks, maybe it is, we'll never know T_T

It just felt like a worthy first map design for fun

Ohm, the only concern for me is the square-like connections usually are not very visible well (if they work in both diagonal directions). I don't know how you imagined that πŸ˜„

#

Not talking about the one diagonal avenue that makes 6 territories meet in one single point sometimes? Do they all connect there?

I know a lot of territories would connect to exactly 4 other territories (with a few connecting to 5 or 3). I think that is okay and will make interesting pattern of flow and a good map. All diagonals would make a map that would be way too connected.

I'd also tend to the opinion that diagonal connections where 4 rectangles meet is too excessive, territories that have touching sides is where the connections make most sense to me
