I agree cap should go but don't think it should be kept as is for point gain.
We'd chatted on the possibility of no cap but a reduced gain based on # of battle points gained that day (e.g. 1.0x <1000, 0.9x <2000, 0.8x <3000 etc)
The main issue with making it uncapped without any modifier is the inclusion of Gems through battle point levels (so farming levels in 10s games for a day to max up to 100 would make it much faster to get in-game stuff for free, discouraging premium via purchases etc) which isn't good for SMG or wider community for the most part
but the amount of gems is kinda tokeny anyways... and only happens every occasional number of levels
When the special levels come in it's +5 gems for all empty levels until level 37 or something like that - stuff like that we also need to account for (even if it's not live now, if it's enabled in future again, which it can be with some clicks, it's now +100-200 gems you could get in a day, more if it was empty levels up to 100, which'd cover premium @ full price)
maybe don't give gems as rewards then?
I don't think the Battle Point caps need to be fully removed. I would probably just play with the numbers to allow for more games per day.
What is your guy's (SMG) thoughts on a two tiered gratification system? That would be a Regular BP progression along with a Premium BP progression. The premium tier would have more frequent and better rewards.
I would really like to see the progression updated maybe seasonally. I just don't know if you guys have the right output rate on new content for that to be feasible.
Either way the progression needs start out with more common items and transition through to more legendary items at the higher levels.
