So do you mean instead of +5 it would be like a multiplier of the previous bonus? That's an interesting idea!

I think the best way to do it would be to have a semi-complicated algorithm. Not too complicated that really good players couldn't calculate the situation accurately, but a few things I see that need to be accounted for.

  1. It should take into account how fast the game is progressing. This can be done in a number of ways, and is better answered by someone better at math and risk than me.

  2. It should take into account the total number of troops on the board, potentially even by map. Again, specifics better answered by someone better at math and risk than me.

And the answer to your question is yes, lol

I'd love to hear some thoughts by someone... yk

This will sound ridiculous, but I was thinking about this exact idea the other day.

Working out the numbers is the most tricky part, so this would need some testing. But I can definitely see this becoming the better card mode.

@solid comet No that makes sense to me. It seems like the logical continuation of the game mode, so I'd assume lots of people have at one point had the idea.

My initial thoughts were to match the pct increase of the second set of trades, because that's usually when the most action happens. Just record some data for a while then you can do that per map if you want. Larger maps get larger pct increases, not by too much, less than 25 pct versus the smallest ones I'd assume.

Anyway if you're interested in using cheat engine(or if you have a better rec for how) to try to test it I'm down. Open invitation if anyone else would like to dm me as well. I'm skeptical to try testing it with bots.
