I realize that that wasn’t totally clear in second paragraph. What I am proposing is that either SMG makes it such that you click inside the number puck to select a territory exclusively (with the puck size and click box getting bigger with bigger UI scale) or that they allow for a click inside the territory (existing system) or inside the numbered puck (as described) to work equally. Either option would solve current problems. While option one might not appeal to people who like to set UI scale very small or are just used to being able to click anywhere on territory.

An additional thought is that it would also allow for newer maps with huge numbers of territories to be created and be playable. As long as there is space to place a clickable number puck (territory label) even if it was in the ocean adjacent to a territory, it would allow for game play even with smaller and smaller territories, the natural consequence of new maps with more territories than ever before.

I want a 169 or 200 territory map to be a playable option in this game. Don’t you?
