or maybe there could be a feature to save a game and continue another time (friends only aswell), becaue some poeple dont want a game to take place over too many days aswell.
Yes!! Oh, that was actually something I was going to suggest as well, but I wasn't sure if it might already be a thing (haven't done a game with friends yet)
I would also recommend trying out Warzone.com which is a game like risk with realtime mode and the mode you have described in the suggestion, and it has a huge amount of maps and settings.
Or just if you're playing with friends a way to pause the game
Like everybody agrees and you pause and then when everybody agrees again you all resume
I think this could be a combination, like... you could have ongoing games that you can log into, and if people are all online they basically act like real time, but if they aren't, then they just go turn based...
The thing I'm suggesting would coexist with realtime games... you could have ongoing games with groups of people and still be able to do normal battes, also
edit: thanks for the recommendation @trim quarry, I can't seem to reply to it rn probably bc I just replied twice
This is 100% on our future roadmap, either Q4 this year or Q1 2026. We're building the architecture now to support this.
