The downside would be bigger advantage to first players in turn order
The upside is saving everyone's time
This just gives the one placing their troops later an advantage, since they can react to what they see.
There's a good reason for why it's one troop at a time.
Its would be advantage for last turn
really, i see it as benificial for first in turn order players
all same time
Not beneficial to roll a stack in a ffa turn 1 Im sure
the big question is : how can you make semi-auto no fog better than it is
Limit the turn timer for placing troops.
place 2 troops a turn?
The initial turn to get an understanding of the board should be a bit longer. Then 10s max for placing each individual troop.
No, that doesn't solve more than the the problems that it creates.
I really like that idea
How about we do four different setup modes?
Manual
Semi-Manual
Semi-Auto
Auto
Manual
Pick Territories and Place 1 troop per turn.
Semi-Manual
Place 1 troop per turn, after game auto generates territories.
Semi-Auto
Place all your troops anywhere, after game auto generates territories.
Auto
Game generates territories and troop distribution for players.
that would work much better than what we have rn and samed's idea
