That is a really interesting idea for a map. If you have a source for where you got your information, I'd actually like to see that, it would be cool. The empty gap in the Navajo Nation is also a nice inclusion. Also, the territory shapes are very dynamic. I stared at this map for legit 10 minutes when I first saw it.

While the concept I think carries this proposal a long way, there's a few minor things I do think could be improved about this. The borders between bonuses only having 1 of the colors can make some of them a bit unclear. Also, I think territory names would complement the unique concept some more. Still great though.

thanks for the kind words! sorry i didn't see this sooner. if i can find the map i used i'll link it to you. i originally created this in google slides, so i couldn't use layers. on the slide itself, clicking on each territory tells you its name, but i couldn't really communicate that with just a png. as for the colors between borders thing, i have no idea what to do about that, and i've kinda just decided to live with it.
