I’m saying no because that would just make it even easier to snipe people. The 1v1 ladder is hard because 90% of your time is just sitting there waiting for an opponent.

And currently the biggest problem I have with the 1v1 ladder is smurfing and sniping. The amount of times I played a novice with like 3 games played who plays like a top tournament player is insane. It’s already easy to find us, id prefer if we didn’t make it even easier

i have also been encountering a ton of novices who are gods at the game i really would not be surprised if those were other top players trying to mess around with my climb

Those are the only ones I don't play against if they join me again
Playing a 1v1 is essentially a 50/50 if the player you're going against is good and knows all about the map
Im all ok for 50/50ing masters and grandmasters whatever im top 1 there is a reason they are not and i am and i mostly take the win vs them but going vs a good novice is just unfair and frustrating when you lose
