purple and blue could have been dead as well, even me (but i put my best arco impression and card skipped for multiple turns) - people only used alliances to hold bonuses :p

Why scoop a bounty and get 5th, if you can card skip forever and get second

Taking a guaranteed 7 points instead of an unlikely 10 might be worth it at times. Better than taking the 2 that is most likely to happen to you as the weakest player.
