#Easier way to find people who collaborate

There is a system in place that already does this. The first step is almost always a warning though. Most of the time you think people are collaborating, they aren't. Its always better to be safe than sorry and report them though

#

It doesn't keep track of how many games in a row (well that I know of). It keeps track of how many games 2 accounts have played together over a longer time period.

Streamers have recieved suspensions because of this. Stream Snipers will join their lobbies (changing their name) and play with them a bunch. The system detects that 2 accounts are playing together routinely and suspends them both. So we know it works

Playing with the same players in ranked occasionally is perfectly ok. The threshold isn't THAT low (it hasn't been published but I suspect its greater than 6 games a season). You aren't expected to remember every name you have played with.

And again if its your first time you will most likely just receive a warning. Hopefully at that point you are more careful not to join games with the same players. Then if its still happening you usually receive a 24 hr suspension. And if you continue to join games with the same player/s you will receive a week long suspension. And after all of that its probably not an accident anymore you receive a ban.

And at any point in time you can open a support ticket and appeal/get clarification for what account is routinely playing with you

#

Yep. According to SMG usually collaboration stops after the first warning/ 24 hr suspension. It rarely reaches the ban level

#

They can see what accounts are on what devices and track it that way as well

#

Haha yep. The report system is what's public so that's what people think is the main defense. It also causes a bit of fear mongering because people are scared of collaboration because they think they have to be the ones to stop it.

In reality SMG just doesn't do a great job of being public. They should have a lot more information about the game publicly available. When you first start playing the game there's almost no information about the simple things like what Balanced Blitz is, how the rank point system works including but not limited to season resets, or how zombies work. I mean the list goes on. They definitely don't have any information available about their behind the scenes work to keep players protected and why they can or cant do things.

So theres a lot of people in your shoes and I see it almost every day between here and reddit

Ace is super helpful around here and a wealth of knowledge. (We may disagree from time to time on some Risk-Ideas, but there can’t be any disagreement about how helpful you are!)
