Somewhat new to the online version of risk: I come from playing mostly online chess, where it is typical and even considered proper etiquette to resign to your opponent when you realize you are completely lost (i.e. if you see your opponent has forced checkmate in the next 8-10 moves or so)
I was wondering as I play online if there is a similar code here where I should be surrendering in circumstances where for example it's a 1 on 1 end game and my opponent has 80 troops and is obviously able to destroy my army of 20-30 it the next turn or 2: do I surrender here as a sign of respect to concede and save them the time of performing the remaining tedious clicks it takes to make the win official?
Follow up question would be would surrendering in this fashion affect my or winner's rankings/scores/xp/anything? would this be considered quitting/throwing the game? or is it just the case that this fashion of resignation like in chess just doesn't exist here?
