I don't fully understand but approve nonetheless 😄
I'll forgo the technical details, but the difference in battle outcomes (besides the issue it solves) is negligible. (I don't know if/why it would be desirable to arrive at the same outcome.) But as a proof of concept I derived that it's possible to approach the current relation between TR win% and BB win%, differing at most 0.23% point across the whole domain. See https://www.desmos.com/calculator/pqumyizvvm. (You don't need the high precision I used for the parameters. As one can see if you change the new parameters a bit, the difference between the lines stays very small.)
In other words (if desired) you wouldn't notice something changed, but it removes the need for "perfect slider" Edit: on second thought, there still might be some small influence left from the slider on the average losses, but it definitely makes it impossible to lose more if you attack with more troops.
Maybe I can make it a bit more concrete. Instead of just removing 15% of the win% (like 85% goes to 100% win) on both sides. In the proposal, I also removed 15% (instead of 10%) of the outcomes for the troops losses, so you don't get a discrepancy between the two.
