Nice unique map. What was the source image?
Reason: Posted a link
I like the idea of maps based on actual buildings. I think they fit really well with the zombie mechanic. But you should have left your January 6th joke more ambiguous… the viewer would have figured out the reference.
This one was kind of cool
Yeah you're probably right..
Wikipedia. BTW this is the second floor. I can't post the link, but the file name is: File:US Capitol second floor plan 1997 105th-congress.gif
Ahhh the color map makes more sense as a RISK map. I think the flow from territory to territory is pretty clear, and I like the look of the map better with open doorways, but I suppose a finished SMG map would have to have faint lines across doorways to make the separations absolutely clear.
I used some existing Risk maps of buildings and castles to help me figure out how to do doorways and halls. The doorways are completely made up of course, while the rooms and room numbers are not. I had to make up names for the large atriums and hallways.
I am assuming that the stairways and elevator lobbies and other spaces with no doorways cutting through the solid lines are strictly decorative and are not part of the map.
You are correct. If it is labeled, it is a territory. The one elevator lobby is actually a territory, as are the hallways.
Are you affiliated with RGD? One of the judges?
Wow. Just found a typo, lol. So the "capital" of the country is Washington DC. The building is the "capital" So this is the capitol in the capital.
No I’m just a fan of risk maps and other fan art.
Nice map. Zombies and the White House definitely go together. I have looked at maps of the White House online and thought about it too. Very fun.
Gotta admit, at first I thought he’d plagiarised it, since it was drawn so neatly, but after checking, it is an original piece 😎
