A solution like that would also reduce the amount of people desperate to play with friends who opt to play ranked because they have no alternatives, especially lower ranked players who will end up being banned for this. Just give the option and I’m certain the amount of cheaters in ranked will also be reduced.

For tournament practice this would be useful too. Often on Discord we end up with 3-4 of us wanting to practice for a 6 player game, with no way to fill it up
