The idea with an expanded auto-match system for ranked play would be to match you with the closest available opponents to your current skill points (which are the basis for ones rank). The system would first look for people within 50 points of your current sp level and then incrementally expand the range over time if an insufficient number of matches are not made. The disclaimer would estimate about how long you could expect to wait based on the number of active players and their current sp level.
