I had a brain fart and forgot you can actually see the troop count in the battle log during fog, that being said I stand by the opinion that it’s unintuitive and bad design to have it show up anywhere but the center of the screen

I'm ok with it. It is fine. Before it was the entire screen, and now it is just the left. It has more style to it. Unless it is obscured by a phone notch, I don't see any reason to change it. Let's worry about things that actually impact gameplay.
I would be open to an option to turn these notifications off, if the community wants it.
