Also, buff SerdinT in a way so Skill start will not take any animation time - Parallel using skills,
Same for chaser.
It means she will use her spells and they will be used parallelly and not taking 1-2 seconds to be casted.
Same would work best for Veigas spells TBH.
Crit chance improvement. And some skills improvements
Reiliterate on this for Veigas & Serdin T. Go in depth.
Sending my monthly rounds of emails and wanted more info on what you had in mind.
Right now in the game, CDR isn’t as important since you can easily reach up to 100%.
On one hand, that’s cool, but on the other hand, it means that skills are no longer limited just by CDR but also by their animation times. The best examples, in my opinion, are SerdinT, Veigas, and now even Metatron.
The idea here is to give especially those two characters (Veigas and SerdinT) the possibility to use their skills without being locked behind long animation times. One way to achieve this would be to create a kind of parallel system for skill use. For example, if a character has 100% CDR and a very long animation, you could shorten the animation itself. Imagine a simple “finger snap” — the character snaps their fingers and the skill activates instantly. It takes only 0.1 seconds, so with 100% CDR, that character could use around 10 skills in rapid succession.
I know this might sound a bit overtuned, but actually it isn’t - since the newest characters already deal such high damage, this change would simply bring older characters up to a modern level without altering their actual damage values or damage types (BP, magical, physical, etc.).
Another thing over there, you could add the stat in game which increases SKILL SPEED (it increases the animation time taken to use this skill), or like reworked accessories - for example purple gives instead of true damage, it will make so character will use every third ability without animation time or so (it's more about balance).
And blue set instead will make your characters have always 0% cooldown reduction on this character (base cooldown reduction) - but buffs that were granted to this character will not go away (even temporary buffs) - it would work perfectly for a few characters.
I believe it would make game a lot interesting in build building and more interest concepts on playing it!
