No need, flight is all via drone command and cameras, and operation in the vessel itself is keys for controlling systems with mouse to look around/interact with buttons and switches.

Helm, and Logi IMO are the two most important jobs, you can end up shit creek without them

Captain, Nav, 3 vehicle pilots, 2 logi, and any extra are just assistants. And IMO logi isnt even a full job, it just has 2 chairs. I would bet that in mid to late game it could be more of a hands on task but early game its something you look at every 2 islands conquered or so

If its fuel stocks in the carrier generally keeping that as full as possible is ideal, carrier can hold up to 100 units of fuel inside itself

I usually order another 50 when the carrier gets down to 30-50 left. That's assuming you have a barge nearby an island that has fuel that's only 2 or 3 islands away
