Good! Personally I don’t use traders that much. Hunting is nice but if prefer to see those animal roaming the badlands! Maybe in the future 😃

Hunters are nice, but they tend to exterminate all animals and then idle, which makes them less useful 😉

I'm also not using trading as much.

I feel a resistance to using it as I don't know the bartering ratio. So, making a decision on what items to bring to trade is a hit and miss and becomes a guessing game, which is not fun. I mean, to bring lots of Scrap + Wood (the only resources I have in excess) and only get 20 Cloths? Does not seem worth the trouble as the benefit is a one-time thing.

Better to build the infrastructure for the long term and wait to grow the zone slowly...

Shall post to feedback separately about the dialog blocking the trade button.

The merchants simplified the game. During the game session, I didn't see anything exclusive from them that gave them more importance. Hunting as an additional food source is good (really lacked food sources), but there are no animations, animals die because they ran out of meat (but the hunter didn't even approach them, looks paradoxical). Electricity grids in the wasteland liked, gives the opportunity to supply electricity to small settlements, I would like to supply electricity not only to settlements, but also to some buildings in the wasteland. Bottom line: 6 points out of 10, would be 7 if there was a hunting animation; the patch did not really affect the gameplay, to some extent even simplified it (with the addition of traders); In general, my attitude to the patch is neutral, it is not bad, but the wow effect also did not cause.

# verbal hill There is a lot of clay in the game, and clay makes a lot of bricks. I sell brick...

Forgot to come back to this...

I'm referring to the specific time window of

  • just settled in Zone 1;
  • having just the Pathfinder which I'm using to scavenge the resources in Wasteland;
  • not having visited Expeditions so no Research Points to unlock Clay/Brick;
  • just found Rusty in Sector 1 (and so limited to the resources he carries and what I have in Zone 1 to trade with);

...mostly for the Max Challenge difficulty level (everything must just be done at a slow pace.)

In the above scenario, trading is not on my mind but establishing the infrastructure to produce more resources. Because the bartering value is not conducive to the opportunity cost of time I lost on collecting the resources I need. Because, not bringing enough means have to return again and again. And then for all that effort only got 20 cloth, for like 6x50 Scrap or something like that.
