#how do I get things stolen from bandits back
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It happens over weeks. You get one stack i think with some of your stolen stuff
It took months when I had stuff stolen but they supposedly sped up the time frame.
I lost 60 bear claws, the next bandit camp had 0, but the one after that had 20.
Ok ive discovered its 2 slots. Oh and im pretty sure you don't start getting things back til the next raid after the one they stole stuff from
it takes about a day to start getting stuff back yeah. if you kill some and get the map, but some escape with things, you can hang onto the map for a day then use it tho
Until you are strong enough to fight the bandits before they take your stuff make sure to try the letting one go every raid trick to keep them weak.
But you want to centralize your storage in the meanwhile. Use buildings like barn, stable, pet house as walls. They cant break those (but they can walk thru the doors so be carfule how you place those. )
Many people find it helpful to keep storage together in the most protcted part of the ranch. Put the benches on the outer wall. Put at least two barriers around the storage. Double wall, spikes, sandbags. Upgrading the walls increases the time they spend breaking them down. More layers does thecsame thing. They tend to move in a linear fashion smashing things in rows. So its easy to distract them with a few extra walls.
Oh, this reminds me.
Jackalope isn't either destructible or passable, right?
Sorry. Meant to say, Indigo bloom. Jackalope has gaps...
I don't know i know the potted christmas tree isnt. Pot of gold but its too small. Havent realky tested all the things and my jackalope in storage
Mario said ones that you have to wait at least 24 hours in order start taking back process , and in hideout there are two stacks at top of what was stolen, so it takes time to retrieve everything.
I agree. You may have to do 10 bandit stashes before you get all of your stuff back.
Also, I don't know if letting one of the bandits get away from your ranch works anymore, everyone suggested that when I first started playing so I did it for a very long time and never saw a difference in the difficulty of raids or in the loot. So I would suggest to kill them quickly
and yes it takes several raids before you start getting your stolen items back but just kill them all and you will get your stuff back.
There's something called "bottom of things".
Check bribe cost after every raid.
Bottom of things?
That method does have lower cap, in which everyone is lv 21, (4 raiders) with the least possible bribe cost.
No dynamite users
Kill them all, means that your next raid will be harder, and they'll start using dynamite
Well, I only did that technique before I was level 80ish...somewhere around there, but it is definitely more challenging to try and poke that last bandit with something and not kill it, and not let it get away with any loot than to just kill them all and keep all your loot and theirs. Lol
pretty sure the bribe cost goes up by level, it's 300 silver for me and has been for ages, even when i was t6 and had the raid difficulty knocked down to t3 (didn't go to t2 cos i wanted to steal their dynamite - only 1 per raid but it was still worth it)
Both by level and difficulty.
Each successful (kill all) defense, increase the cost slightly. That's what I meant by the bottom
With sVIP on T6 I had Bandits lvl 35. With 'leave last one' tactic they're dropping with lvl. Thing is that each time you are unlocking new tier territories bandits increase in levels.
@gritty pumice @proven moth I've never noticed a difference in bribe cost, but the only time I've ever looked at it was by clicking it on accident lol so I'll watch it more closely now
If I find a map, and one escapes, and the game offers me a map for 80 silver, does that mean I can get the raid rewards twice?
you can purchase the second map and get a second bandit stash yes.
You can't have two bandit stashes open at the same time tho, so you'll need to wait roughly an hour after opening the first one to open the second.
