Daylight Robbery: Update Devalued My Real Money Progress in Horse Breeding and Baits!

This is nothing short of daylight robbery.
​I just spent 4200 Silver to research all T6 baits and, crucially, I bought a T7 bait module with real money.
​Additionally, I was actively investing real money and resources into T5 horse breeding elixirs to get to T7.
​The very next day, a single update completely devalued all this investment and my progress!
​Now, animals are attacking me again, and a T7 horse, which I was working hard to breed, can now simply be bought for a mere 4k Silver. My investment in breeding is now worthless.
​I consider this a blatant rip-off and a scam that disrespects paying players.
​If there is no full and appropriate compensation for my loss of real money value and time invested, I will see no point in continuing to play this game.

I get why it might feel that way at first glance, but you honestly haven’t lost anything. All of your previous research and progress is still fully available to you, no matter what your current level is.
For example, if you hadn’t unlocked a certain bait or a mount tier before the update, you wouldn’t have it now either — that part hasn’t changed. But everything you did manage to unlock before the update is still yours.
So you didn’t lose any progress at all — everything you earned is right where it should be. 🙂

Yes, but it's a long grind for that and the elixirs that are paid

Yep, wild animals won’t attack you anymore as long as you have a high enough Spirit stat.
Baits don’t affect that anymore.

Now attack speed is independent from spirit . So you can take jewels and be imune to all animals if wrangler tree is properly built

Plus , no one pushed you to spend money on it

3 weeks ago we were given an event for x2 points for leveling animals and horses. Today they completely changed the mechanics of animals and horses. And everyone is happy and sees no problems. Thanks to the community, I have even more motivation to delete this game.

This event was a great chance to unlock new baits and horses.
If a player managed to unlock a high-level bait, it stays available after the update — no one lost anything.

Active players now have to spend even more resources. When I learned wolves t7, I could at least save a little in the mine t7. Now they took that away from me and say that this is how it should be. As if I should be grateful for spending a lot of time learning these damn baits.

What are the pros? The friendly animal mechanic was introduced relatively recently and has now been removed. How long do you think the new mechanic will last? How will you feel when something you worked so hard for disappears?

The pros are easier horse unlock , bonuses for auto speed , gathering , crafting , attack damage , sneak mode speed ... i guess they make up for it

It is not ranting but legitimate complaint. Many people spend a lot of time and money on leveling pets/horses. If they didn't they would get it all for free. In my books it's counted as a total waste.

Encouraging people to spend more money (cash or in-game currency) on old pet/horse system knowing that it's gonna be replaced with a new one in a matter of weeks or even days (I'm talking about X2 event and black friday) - feels nothing short of a scam indeed.

Neither pet nor horse leveling were important enough for catch up - the game was perfectly fine with T5 rare horses from the wheel and no pets (only gator is ok cause it demands much less crackers). Overall it is not about f2p but total disregard of the effort people put into this stuff, it must be so demotivating

This game exists on donations. And the developers cheat donors again and again. There will be no donors, there will be no f2p players. This is a simple truth. This should be clear to everyone.

1: you're selling something that you know has no value
2: no, we are selling to willing buyers at the current fair market price

F2P and P2W are 2 different worlds that will always be at war ... i guess we just waste time with each other
