It would be nice if there was a spice trader. I have insane amounts of salt and spices but little mustard or hot sauce or canned goods. It would be cool to be able to trade these resources with a trader in town or even at the saloon

You can trade salt for spices in silverton. You’ll need spices for t6 food

If you have a resource that is abundant in your storages, you simply stop collecting it.

As of mustard, teabags, coffee, canned foods, they are not that rare, if you farm on a regular basis. Every bandit camp in proper tier area, every special event, every bandit hideout contains these items in chests you open, so exchanging isn’t really necessary.

If you need t4 rares clear interfluve every week and farm ash grove, for t5 do CC and bayou (if you can reset it cheaply - dont collect reward for daily mission, which hideout spawns right next to it, t6 easy quest), and for t6 DD is a must, if you have t6 medium quest you can park wagon there, so you can reset denali/glacier relatively cheap.

Well, playing long enough will change your mind.

When I first startred farming t6 ingredients, i thought there should be more. But now these are just stockpiling, i dont have the need to collect t4,5, i could use a few t6 for bad days, though i have a hard time spending foods/drinks, which are also stockpiling. And its true that i have a ton of lower tier buffs that i still use, higher tier only when on t6, and even that only if i really need them (DD).

Make a suggestion for a new trade stand in silverton, we’ll see what the devs say.

As of trading mats in town, they are really handy when you dont want to progress to higher tier area, you can use these stand for exchanging items you need for upgrading benches. When you build up your character, these arent as useful, as you are considered strong enough to obtain resources without trading.

# polar venture At what point does that happen? Haha I’m lvl 117 been playing for three years or...

I cant predict when will it happen for you, it depends on your play style and tactics.

If you are running low on certain buffs/items try adapting you strategy.

I easily farm t4 with t6 bows and t5 sabre, buffs are t3 or lower. I dont collect teabags, mustard perhaps as i have less than 100, and i don’t really need it for anything.

T5 the same weapons, only i sometimes use firearms for gators or when doing mine. Buffs are t4, which is additional 450 HP, which makes it easy to use t5 heals when i fall below 1500 health and not die. If its t5 buff all the same, i have enough of.

For t6 i use guns of t5 as i dont have better than lvl 3 parabellum. Buffs are common t5+t6 which is 1100 extra HP.

Rare buffs are only used in CC(t5) or in DD(but only drink with damage, food t5/6 common). For CT/SC i use rares, but i dont do that as often, or should i say i produce more than i really need.
