What about adding new market stand, that would allow exchange of tools, same as the other items? Could be something we have to build, same as the meat stand.

And exchanging lower tier ones for higher ones
Will make going t5 - t6 easier which defeats the whole point

You can enable T6 tools after certain level, so this will not affect it. I have all updated (except 4 fields) but sitting on quite big amount of lower tier tools that seems pity just to delete, and would find them use for backpack repairs.
And there used to be tool exchange not so long in the past.
