Probability can be explained simply as follows:

If you wear two of these rings, you have two independent chances of 5% each.

  1. Probability that the first ring doesn't work: 95% (or 0.95).
  2. Probability that the second ring doesn't work: also 95% (or 0.95).

To calculate the probability that neither of the rings works, you multiply the probabilities:

0.95 x 0.95 = 0.9025

This means there is a 90.25% chance that neither of the rings works.

Now, we subtract this probability from 100% to find out how likely it is that the instant kill works.

1 - 0.9025 = 0.0975

So, there is a 9.75% chance that at least one of the two rings will work and the animal will be instantly killed.

In summary:

  • One ring gives you a 5% chance.
  • Two rings together give you a 9.75% chance that at least one of the rings will work.

If it is worth yes and no. You have the gold , the spirit or the speed that you can use other rings. Go for it. The HP plus sure is welcome. And at the end the devs should finally explain if it is just one that works or if it goes the logic of mathematics and adding up to a two time single try or not, what makes it 9.25%.
