I suggest a little bit less, I think the 2x exp causes problems for folks, it would be better as a "50% exp boost" so they don't progress faster than their benches and gear can keep up with, we see that concern pop up often. But I agree that they could experiment with things. Maybe some A/B testing during dedicated experimental periods to gather some data on what works best.

Here is the thing- a VIP you can buy, different from the 24/7 VIP, that you can turn off and back on whenever you want.

Agreed but the VIP offer need to be rework. The 2x exp boost need to remove while the rest stay the same. The VIP boost give a huge benefits to the player but it troublesome for most of the player when their exp start to level up really fast to the point it forcing you try to get the access of other places(e.g north, south and east) making the player unprepared with it.
