Why did my hunting mission fail?

Maybe the one you need to hunt needs melee weapon..better check before doing the hunting quest.

Yup, some have specific weapon requirements

There are some things u need to follow in those misions
Starting from medium difficulty type of weapons is described to kill your target
Example
Kill some bear
Weapon type required are rifles and muskets
Nothing else
Got it ?

With these boss animals u need to use those weapons on them from start to finish

But with Animals like wolfs
Kill 20 wolfs in this and that area are with melee
U can dmg them anyway u like but the last hit must be done with presribed weapon type

Unlike with boss animals this one will not fail in case u choose wrong weapon
