No worries on asking questions, and Afelpadito is right, my farm for rare tubes was CT leaderboard for like 3 years. I was able to score in the top 10 for almost a year straight and in the top 100 the year before and year after, so I stopped buying rare tubes fairly early on.

Keep in mind the game was a bit different back then, my first two trench guns ever were from the safes found in maps and cracked in town. Safe loot was much better back then. Also, purchased guns were BP5, not 3, so when the wandering daily trader had 1892s and trenches for silver I got them there.

One secret to my CT success in was getting a BP5 epic 1897 shotgun the week after Epic items were introduced in game. Upon release they put the brand new epics in daily deals, but it was pretty rare, I saw 1 the first week and 1 the second. Thankfully I realized early on their value for CT so I bought the 1897 for really money. A few weeks later they removed epics from daily deals.

For my play style, I personally open all tubes and don’t trade up. That’s because I intended to play for the long term and my goal for common tubes is to have BP 200, 250+ common weapons that have huge damage but cheap to make and maintain. Great for farming.

Couple clarifications - Aurora is the highest base damage gun in game, yes, though in terms of DPS (damage per second) other guns beat it. Also, workbench gear can change the outcome too.

Also, epic weapons aren’t technically tier 6. There’s a difference between tier and rarity. I got it, tier 6 is easier to say than tier 5 epic, but just want to clear up any confusion so we’re all on the same page.

Sadly that place is far so it's hard to chain

and... sure english saber is way cheaper but is melee so you should only use it for enemies that you don't need to kite
