if you mean the actual gun ready to use

best way is crafting so you can make a stronger gun with high bp lv but if you reach bp5 then you are already fine 👌

for me the best cheap ways is bandit's stash map , you get a free weapon that sometimes is a gun,
just go mines and kill many bandits to get raided

now if you mean blueprints to craft these weapons

you need to open tubes to get random blueprints,
i've got more luck in mines but they can be everywhere
common tube easy to get everywhere
uncommon tube, mines
rare tube, get a place on leaderboards or buy in town for 250 (cheaper having vip 200)

Been off for awhile, finally updated and did the new CT for the first time. I went in blind with no hints, wanted to experience the changes for myself. Reached the same wave as usual, 36 plus some of 37. Overall the difficulty progression was smoother, didn’t seem to have the spikes at certain waves like 13, 21, 29, etc. the buffalo wave was the odd man out, seemed like a step back in difficulty especially in the 30s. Wave 36 got unlucky and drew Uktena, with the speed increase made it actually a challenge compared to the old Uktena. Still, disappointed with the reward nerf at my level, the gold is half or less what it was under the new system. I’m glad more players have a chance to get fair rewards, just wish it wasn’t at my expense. Just a new system to get used to.

And for the inevitable responses that I’m wrong and it’s amazing all around, this is my opinion.

Like weapons, each has their uses, but ultimately the best pet for you is the highest tier animal you can get.

Bears are a little too slow to be useful for smash everything play styles until you get to t4-5. Other play styles bears work fine. T5 bears are fast and strong, good for gold rush raids as they soak up a ton of damage (around 11K health at T5).

Alphas and pumas work well too, and work with most play styles like stealth or spirit. They have good special abilities. unfortunately, not as good as bears for gold rush raids since they just can’t take as many hits.

Not sure about wolves/lynx, mine are still too low to test.

For people looking for other ways to find the bandits quickly when they raid your ranch, to use obstacle sounds to indicate direction.

For example, place growing fields on one side of your ranch, sandbags/spike/wire on the second, stone walls on the third, and impassable buildings on the fourth (barn, stable, etc). Then you enter the raid during a bandit raid, listen for the sound they make. If you hear immediately dynamite placement sounds, you know they are at the bare wall. If you hear the crunching sound right away of sandbags being destroyed, run that direction. If you hear nothing for several seconds, you know they are either running through the fields or around those buildings. Just one of several ways to make finding bandits easier.

You see, the changes made alot easier for new players to get stuff

But veteran players kind suffered a loss in that

The balance on Indian items was necessary not gonna lie, but it was a bit too much

Dogs are naturally t3 rare and have a bite that ignores armor, dealing more damage
