#Bounce Pads (tech demo)

Love it! Definitely keen to have a play around with this
Excited to see what you come up with while using them!
For anyone interested in the mechanics of it, this is what it looks like below ground.
- The top button is purely aesthetic. It looks good and provides the audio cue when you bounce on it. There are no activations tied to it.
- The detector area only reaches about 0.2 above ground so that you fall far enough to press the button on each bounce.
- The lower button is how the tool is jammable. The plasma door that passes through it is closed by default and when it's closed it presses the button. Jam it and the button unpresses. Voila, you've got your change in condition.
So finally the fan is powered by:
- The detector area
- The underground button
- (optional) any other conditions you want to tie to it like the blue receiver.
- The trigger is to just keep things tidy. All of the wires are tied to it, as well as the fan, so you only need to set conditions once.
Exploration - Bounce/Launch Pad
Basic tilt, the tool definitely has potential to iterate in more movement based direction
This is so cool!!!
Unbelievable, what kind of tool you invented just by creatively assamble different tools. It feels just great and real when jumping on those pads.
Well done and thank you for adding interesting elements.
May Elohim bless you
Just pushed an update of a second demo-puzzle incorporating some @wise fox upgrades to the bounce pad.
Now it remembers how high you jumped from and will bounce you accordingly!
This version is VERY heavy in terms of actors. Realistically you probably don't need anywhere near as many levels as Nazario built and I put into the puzzle, so you could trim away stuff you don't need.
Boink!
How does this work?!?
Detector areas on different height levels corresponding to a hidden mechanism opening plasma door to a specific receiver that powers one of the hidden fans
Boink!
